An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Sports Therapy to join our Sports team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Sport Therapy professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Sports Therapy, you will:
Support lecturing staff on competence-based skills to standards set by external bodies, current industry-led bodies and awarding bodies:
Monitor and assess work experience/placement activities in realistic work environments
Instruct, train, demonstrate and assess students on competence based/skills-based learning programmes devised.
Manage the Sports Therapy clinic client booking system and allocation of clients to student therapists.
Oversee client diagnostic and rehabilitation processes within the Sports Therapy clinic, whilst assessing Higher Education Sports Therapy students.
Manage the stock levels, and replacement of, perishable items.
Daily maintain the Sports Therapy clinic, including reporting faulty equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who have:
Relevant Sports Therapy Degree, or equivalent, preferably educated to a master's level.
Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
Assessor and Verifier Awards – Desirable.
First Aid qualification – Desirable.
