Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Rural Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.
Shifts run between: 07:30- 17:30 from Monday to Sunday
Hours of work: 37
Contract: Permanent, Variable days 5 of 7
Location: Otterburn Training Camp, Otterburn, Northumberland, NE19 1NX

Main Responsibilities
* To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose
* Cleaning of the facilities and accommodation blocks
* General building maintenance
* Basic grounds maintenance
* Operation and maintenance of plant equipment (training will be provided)
* Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment
* Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper-based systems
* Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
The Ideal Candidate
* General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
* Understanding of Health and Safety procedures
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to complete documentation
* Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
* Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)
