Position: Full-Time Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant

Pay: £89 – 95 per day

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a lovely primary school in the CF14 area of Cardiff, seeking a passionate and dedicated Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class from after Easter. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and group support to Reception pupils, assisting with their learning and development.
* Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Help create a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
* Assist with the development of Welsh language skills, promoting bilingual learning.
* Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all students.
Key Requirements:
* Fluent in Welsh (both written and spoken).
* Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
