BIM Coordinator role, salary up to £50K

Our client is a large-sized Building Services contractor with multiple offices across the UK, specializing in Mechanical & Electrical Building Design. Your new role:
* Working within a BIM/REVIT team, responsible for generating quality, accurate, and detailed records of Building Services engineering project documentation, adhering to the project BIM execution plan.
* Producing 2D layouts/schematics using AutoCAD and 3D BIM models, including information modeling using Revit MEP, as well as clash detection using Navisworks.
* Setting up drawings and preparing them for the team.
* Reviewing project files for compliance with standards/protocols.
* Implementing best practice procedures.
* Assisting Engineers in drawing production.
* Producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
* Coordinating drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.
* Helping to technically deliver BIM/CAD projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination.
* Creating clash detection reports and resolving issues with the support of the Engineering Team.
* Family creation and input for developing standard details and procedures.
* Meeting tight deadlines and working independently or as part of a team.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Proficiency with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks - examples of work will be requested at interview.
* An understanding of the requirements for building services coordination, including knowledge of BS 1992, PAS 1192, and BS8541.
* Previous experience working in a Building Services consultancy environment.
* Familiarity with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards, and relevant sections of statutory documentation.
* Eligibility to pass criteria for security clearance.
* Positive outlook and self-motivated.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
