As a BREEAM Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering green certification schemes such as BREEAM, Home Quality Mark, and WELL, contributing to the transformation of the built environment into a more sustainable and healthier place for all. Responsibilities: Conduct BREEAM, Home Quality Mark, and WELL assessments for a variety of construction projects, ranging from commercial and residential buildings to infrastructure developments. Evaluate building designs, construction plans, and operations to determine compliance with sustainable building standards and identify areas for improvement. Conduct site visits, gather data, and perform comprehensive assessments to assess the environmental, social, and economic performance of buildings. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide expert advice on sustainable building practices and strategies to achieve certification goals. Prepare accurate and detailed reports and documentation, including compliance reports, assessment reports, and certification submissions. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards, guidelines, and best practices related to sustainable building design and certification schemes. Maintain strong relationships with clients, assisting them in achieving their sustainability targets and providing ongoing support throughout the certification process. Requirements: Degree in architecture, engineering, environmental science, or a related field. Certification as a BREEAM Assessor Proven experience in conducting BREEAM, Home Quality Mark, or WELL assessments for various building types and sizes. Excellent understanding of sustainable design principles, environmental performance metrics, and green certification schemes. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards related to sustainability in the built environment. Proficient in using assessment tools and software, such as BREEAM, Home Quality Mark, or WELL online platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, project teams, and stakeholders. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
