Then look no further, West Sussex County Council is seeking an experienced professional Programme Manager to positively lead complex strategic change. Working in a corporate team driving forward our transformation you will be responsible for facilitating stakeholder collaboration, applying professional and consistent programme management disciplines whilst ensuring robust control and governance remain at the forefront of deliverable plans and strategies. This role offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to make a positive difference.
In this role you will provide technical expertise and leadership on the management of large and complex programmes of change including identifying opportunities for efficiency, reducing costs and improving service delivery through innovation, technology and new ways of working.
What are we looking for?
* You will be a leader of programmes and projects that are transformational and cover a wide variety of subject areas.
* You will have broad and successful experience of effective programme and project management disciplines in managing complex change.
* You will be required to manage a number of teams and work areas, directly or indirectly, ensuring that the appropriate processes are followed and ultimately, delivery is achieved.
* You will also be an excellent collaborator, linking with other Programme Managers across the organisation.
* You will need to be a professional lead in programme management providing strategic planning, technical and tactical input at appropriate times, and be able to recommend the appropriate courses of action to ensure changes are robustly planned, controlled and governed.
