The Role As the People Advisor you will be partnering with managers across the organisation to provide advice on a broad range of generalist HR matters. Role & Responsibilities To provide generalist support and guidance on People policies, processes and procedures to managers and employees across the organisation. To assist with the development and implementation of People related policies and procedures. To undertake People related projects to improve the quality of service provided in line with organisational objectives. To manage holiday and absence reporting processes and provide managers with timely monthly reports. To assist with Health and Safety compliance, ensuring the relevant training has been carried out and co-ordinating the company’s online training platform. To serve as the first point of contact for all employee queries and manage the local People Team inbox, escalating to the Head of People where required. To issue internal paperwork such as salary increase letters and contract amendments. To notify the relevant benefit providers of joiners/leavers to the scheme. To update the Company’s HR platform (Charlie HR) with changes to employees’ terms and conditions. To help to support the Company’s performance management process. To assist the Head of People and other members of the People team with wellbeing, teambuilding and engagement initiatives. Your Experience We are looking for candidates who are passionate about People and Culture to deliver a high-quality customer focused service and foster an innovative organisational culture. Experience of providing advice on HR and employee relations matters within a generalist HR environment. Previous experience in a HR role providing first level HR advice is required along with a professional approach and the ability to build effective working relationships. CIPD qualification is advantageous. About you Excellent organisational skills. Excellent communication and team working skills. Willingness to develop better and more intuitive ways of working. Strong attention to detail with a desire and ability to work accurately. The ability to work under pressure and plan, manage and deliver multiple simultaneous activities.
