The Role and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Front of House Assistant (32.50 hours a week) to join our team within the council’s Venues Team. The Maison Dieu (Dover’s Town Hall) is currently undergoing a £10.5 million restoration and renovation. Opening in Spring 2025 this venue will be open for public, private, ticketed and community events all year round.
The role will be first point of contact in the council venues providing a friendly, welcoming and informative environment for a range of visitors.
Ensure that all visitors and customers receive great customer service whatever role the jobholder is undertaking, whether in the reception area, selling retail items, dealing with an enquiries, at a stall for an event, assisting customers at hospitality functions, such as weddings and meetings, or behind the scenes.
