Link is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner who will lead on providing the delivery of a high comprehensive financial and management accounting service to a selection of subsidiary and business units within the Link group. The post holder will manage a small team of qualified and part-qualified finance staff (maximum 4), including some or all of Finance Business Partners, Accountants, Assistant Accountants or Finance Officers. The successful candidate will manage and supervise the work of these staff in line with delivery of the accounting service to the specified section of the business, and in meeting both internal and external financial reporting requirements. The post holder may also supervise and co-ordinate the delivery of this service, including supporting and advisory service from other Finance Business Partners or Accountants leading on separate subsidiary entities similar in nature. This supervision will support the provision of financial reporting, business and strategic planning, budgeting services and generalist financial advice being provided by the Finance Business Partners.
You will be a qualified accountant with a recognised accounting body (e.g. ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and actively studying. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a financial or management accounting role and proven experience of statutory financial reporting and audit. Experience of building successful relationships with people at all levels and with non-finance business partners as well as experience of providing a finance business partner advisory service is required for this post. Salary: £50,492.00 to £63,254.00 per annum depending on skills and experience (plus Market Rate Allowance 5.38%) This post is based at Link's Edinburgh office.
