About the Role
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Sheffield to find a highly skilled Quality Control Technician.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the quality and technical department, supporting the production teams in producing high-quality forgings or supplying molten steel or ingots.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain adherence to manufacturing procedures, QMS, and quality management principles in production areas.
* Develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to drive excellence.
* Identify quality concerns and non-conformances, ensuring swift resolution.
* Promote PFMEA and Lessons Learnt best practices.
* Ensure steelmaking or forging processes meet technical procedures.
* Participate actively in the Quality Clinic, resolving issues raised by colleagues.
* Elevate best practices for current operations and new capital equipment.
* Foster a culture of accountability through Failure Investigation.
* Assist with customer audits, maintaining our reputation.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar quality-focused role, ideally in heavy engineering, steelmaking, or forging.
* Strong understanding of technical procedures in a production environment.
