A 4-month contract with the potential to be extended, this role is with a North Sea oil and gas exploration and production company. It involves sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Working closely with internal teams, the Procurement Analyst will help optimise purchasing strategies, control costs, and mitigate commercial risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Executing procurement processes, including tendering, negotiation, and awarding purchase and service orders.
2. Ensuring adherence to supply chain policies to optimise value and mitigate risk.
3. Working closely with internal teams to guide procurement processes and clarifying technical or scheduling requirements.
4. Supporting cost-saving initiatives by identifying commercial synergies and optimising purchasing strategies.
5. Maintaining relationships with key suppliers to ensure business needs are met.
About You:
1. Experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
2. Knowledge of ERP/EAMS systems such as SAP or Maximo.
3. Strong understanding of procurement best practices and contract management.
4. Ability to collaborate across teams and drive process improvements.
