We are currently recruiting for a Fire & Security Installation Engineer, servicing planned and reactive maintenance contracts, together with new installation work. This role involves daily travel nationwide, with rare overnight stays.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Fire Emergency and Security Systems or equivalent.
2. Qualified to 18th Edition and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, C&G 2391 or equivalent.
3. Minimum of 5 years experience, including adherence to British, NSI (NACOSS), and BAFE standards.
4. Valid ECS Card; IPAF and PASMA are preferred but not essential.
5. Ability to work at heights.
6. Full UK driving licence.
7. Clean disclosure – vetting to BS7858 standard.
8. Able to work within Health and Safety regulations.
9. Flexible regarding working hours, with a willingness to travel and rare stays away.
Experience Required:
1. Knowledge of, and training in, fire protection systems.
2. Knowledge of, and training in, security systems including Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Bosch, Hikvision (desirable).
3. Track record of installation, commissioning, and repair of intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and audio and door entry systems, including service visits.
4. Proven delivery across the project life cycle to manage scope of works, drawings, installations, testing and commissioning, and client handover.
5. Ability to produce high-quality commissioning and handover documentation to meet quality and client satisfaction standards.
6. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, engineers, management team, and ARC.
