An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Team Leader to join our Elderly Care Ward at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS. Ward 9B is a vibrant, fast paced, and busy ward which provides a variety of diverse and complex medical treatments for elderly patients.
The post holder will work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and must demonstrate expertise and leadership in the delivery of care to their patients. They will work collaboratively ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe patient centred care is adhered to at all times. Supporting continued education, training and staff development is paramount.

The post holder will need to be able to care for a group of patients with a variety of needs, coordinate the daily running of the ward, and communicate with the wider multidisciplinary and administrative teams.
The role will also involve extended roles and responsibilities, and work closely with the Manager to assist in the daily management of the ward.
The post requires an ability to work flexibly during the week, as well as Saturdays and Sundays where required, to be able to deliver care to the highest standards.
