Reporting to the Head of HR, this is a key leadership role where you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our HR policies, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. What You’ll Be Doing: Leadership & Mentorship : Guide and support two direct reports within the HR Team, fostering their professional growth. HR Strategy : Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and initiatives aligned with the organisation's goals. Employee Relations : Serve as a vital link between management and employees, handling relations, resolving grievances, and managing disciplinary processes. Compliance : Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS compliance. Ensure documentation aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements. Payroll Support : Prepare documents for office staff payroll. Auditing : Plan and follow up on monthly staff file audits and maintain records of outcomes. Performance Management : Ensure performance reviews are completed, uploaded, and gaps are reported to senior management. Training : Identify training needs and organise sessions in collaboration with the Head of HR. Confidentiality : Manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. What You’ll Bring: A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices. Knowledge of HRIS software and experience with employment checks (DBS, Right to Work, etc.). Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. Excellent organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills. A calm, solution-oriented mindset with a “can-do” attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Bonus Skills (Desirable): Experience in the healthcare sector.
