You will have a keen eye for detail and a high level of hard landscaping skills. You will be responsible for a small team of landscapers and must have great people skills and be able to organise and motivate your team while being the first point of contact for our clients, always maintaining a professional and approachable manner. Butler Landscapes is a successful, fast-growing, multi-award-winning RHS & BALI landscape design and build company where we bring design-led horticultural visions, both residentially and commercially, to life. We assist our clients by delivering a quality horticultural and construction service.
Our office is based in Market Drayton, enabling us to work throughout Shropshire and surrounding counties. We design and build gardens that are uniquely tailored to each client’s specific needs, tastes, and lifestyles. We build to the highest quality and workmanship, finished to the highest standards, and provide clients with many years of enjoyment. As a team, the very heart of what we do together is to ensure that our customers receive the utmost professional service, from inquiry right through to delivery of the finished garden and beyond. Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee key domestic landscaping projects on time and on budget.
2. Organise and lead a landscaping team of 2-3 landscapers on site.
3. Understand design drawings and set out sites and levels.
4. Plan, prioritise, and work to deadlines.
5. Ability to problem-solve.
6. Ensure you and your team adhere to H&S guidelines and wear correct PPE.
7. Experience of using plant machinery safely.
8. Excellent knowledge of laying all types of paving, setts, and stone.
9. Experience in blockwork, brickwork, and retaining walls.
10. Excellence in constructing decking, fencing, and timber structures.
11. Knowledge of shrub and tree planting.
12. Turfing and seeding.

1. A portfolio of work that you can share with us (Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar).
2. Experience of leading a team.
3. Ability to work independently and take ownership for delivering superb quality work every time.

12. Ensure material waste is kept to a minimum.
13. Maintain in good working order all tools, vehicles, plant, equipment, and machinery.
Requirements for the role, but are not limited to:
1. Recognised landscape skills qualification, although desirable not essential.
2. UK Driving licence.
3. ROLO, CSCS card.
4. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
5. Ability to focus on completing projects when challenges arise.

1. 8.5 hour shift.
2. Day shift Monday to Friday.
