Job Description The Private Markets financial operations team is seeking a specialist with experience and expertise in middle office operations in Credit investments (liquid and private) to strengthen the overall operating platform. The specialist will work closely with the investment management and operations teams as well as third party service providers. The individual will act as key point of contact with the outsourced service provider for all day to day operations of outsourced functions. This role includes following responsibilities Maintain daily oversight of the Outsourced Service Provider and ensure deliverables are met in line with service agreements; Review deliverables performed by the Outsourced Service Provider; Coordination loan servicing and settlement and coordination between investment and operations teams and Outsourced Service Provider; Act as main escalation point for Credit operations team; Monitor and perform reconciliation of cash flows; Assist in responding to investor queries; Drive results and accountability within Credit operations team and responsible for oversight of Outsourced Service Provider; Provide technical advice and knowledge to team; Review, improve, implement and enforce controls and processes within the Credit operations team; Involvement in various enhancement and strategic projects Requirements 5 years of experience in private credit operations, prior experience in open-end fund operations an asset; Expertise in middle office loan servicing and settlement, and trade support; Experience in managing third party fund administrator, prime broker, depositaries and working with private and public credit securities, derivatives and FX; Certified Public Accountant an asset; Able to prioritize and meet short deadlines in a fast moving and demanding environment, operating in an independent manner; Hands-on, can-do approach; Detail oriented, strong accounting and analytical skills with flair for financial analysis; Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, open mindset and proven team player; Expertise in Excel, administrator tools and systems, Bloomberg, calculating and allocating fees and returns Please upload your complete application documents online with a reference to your preferred workload (part time or full-time) in your cover letter.
