Volunteer Podcast Producer | The AVOCADO Foundation
The AVOCADO Foundation is seeking a talented podcast producer volunteer to join our team of #WorldChangers on a mission to eradicate the economic inequalities experienced by under-represented youth, non-profits, and entrepreneurs.

By leading the production of the World Changers Podcast and The AVOCADO Foundation’s podcasts, you will help us inspire and educate listeners globally.
What are we looking for?
1. Podcast Production Expertise: Proficiency in audio recording, editing, and production software or other relevant tools.
2. Creativity and Storytelling: Strong storytelling abilities and a keen sense of how to engage audiences through compelling audio content.
3. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure quality production and clear, polished audio.
4. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple podcast episodes simultaneously and meet publishing deadlines.
5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
6. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust content and production based on feedback and evolving project needs.
7. Knowledge of Podcast Distribution: Understanding of podcast hosting platforms, RSS feeds, and strategies for audience growth.
What will you be doing?
As the Podcast Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of the World Changers Podcast as well as The AVOCADO Foundation’s other podcasts, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with our mission. Your work will enhance the visibility and impact of our initiatives in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and capacity-building. You will have previous experience in podcast production and a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Podcast Production: Plan, record, edit, and produce engaging podcast episodes that align with the foundation’s mission.
2. Manage the entire production process, including scripting, scheduling, recording, and post-production.
3. Ensure high-quality audio production, including sound editing, mixing, and mastering.
4. Upload and distribute podcast episodes across various platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other streaming services.
5. Content Development: Collaborate with the Programme and Media & Communications team to develop compelling topics and structure episodes.
6. Research and propose relevant themes and discussion points to align with our audience’s interests.
7. Assist in writing scripts, show notes, and promotional materials to enhance audience engagement.
8. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the Media & Communications team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
9. Ensure all podcast content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
10. Other Requirements: Maintain awareness and ensure compliance with organisational policies, including safeguarding, code of behaviour, and confidentiality and data protection.
11. Undertake any other duties that are required and commensurate with the level of the post.
