Vacancy: SVQ Assessor - Health & Social Care

Position: We are seeking a SVQ Assessor to be based at our Thurso, Alness or Dornoch campus.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieving the recruitment, retention and outcome targets of candidates on work-based SVQ programmes.
2. Liaising with candidates, employers and various College staff/departments to ensure an excellent candidate experience and compliance with health and safety standards.
3. Supporting programme evaluation, enhancement and continuing personal development.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
1. Relevant qualification in the subject area - at minimum SVQ Level 3 but ideally at Level 4 (SCQF Level 8) or comparable knowledge and experience in the relevant industry.
2. Ideally hold a valid workplace assessing or verifying qualification (training can be given).
3. A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
Salary: £31,258 per annum, pro rata
Location: Thurso, Alness or Dornoch
Working Hours: Variable hours, Casual contract
