The school is looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child with autism. You will provide tailored, individual support to ensure the child can engage with the curriculum, develop social skills, and succeed in a structured setting. Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to a student with autism, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. Implement and adapt individual learning plans to meet the specific needs of the child. Support the child in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities. Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCo to create a structured and supportive learning environment. Monitor the child’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCo, and adjusting strategies as needed.
