Role Description
* Focus on developing relationships with children and young people to engage them in learning.
* Understand the importance of emotional regulation and can implement strategies to support/model this appropriately.
* Be part of developing and delivering a holistic curriculum that focuses on all four areas of the EHCP.
* Create interest-based learning opportunities and foster a culture of wonder.
* Understand that learning can happen anywhere, anytime when you’re inspired.
* Have detailed knowledge of a trauma-informed approach.
* Follow the guidance in each person's individual risk assessment/student plan to support them in managing their anxiety and behaviour positively and to keep them and others safe.
* You’ll use a range of strategies in supporting the range of additional needs we work with.
* Deliver 1-1 sessions of learning in the students' homes and out in the community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
