Your Role as a Design & Technology Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Design & Technology across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
* Teach a broad curriculum, including Product Design, Engineering, Graphics, and Resistant Materials.
* Encourage students to develop creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of real-world applications of design and manufacturing.
* Support students in achieving high standards of coursework and examination results.
* Organise and participate in extracurricular clubs, competitions, and STEM events to enhance students' learning experience.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching methods and resources.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A qualified Design & Technology Teacher with QTS (or working towards it).
* Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching across different areas of DT, such as Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials.
* A passion for hands-on, practical learning and the ability to inspire creativity in students.
* The ability to differentiate lessons to cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
* An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
