We are a young business and a UK reseller / distributor of wooden gazebos, pergolas, and greenhouses.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be tasked to develop new commercial opportunities with both large and small businesses. The majority of the sales process will be via telephone and email, and the role is 95% home-based. You will be part of a small but highly experienced team. Full product training is provided, and there will be ongoing support and mentorship.
The working hours will be Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm. These can be increased to a maximum of 30 hours a week. There will be a weekly face-to-face meeting in Newmarket, so being accessible to this area is important.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills and be proficient in Excel. A sales background is a must, ideally in the business-to-business arena, but we would consider candidates from a background in business-to-consumer selling. Negotiation skills are key alongside drive, creativity, tenacity, and self-motivation.
