Academic Support Officer
Location: INTO Manchester
Salary: From £27,253 depending on experience
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 30 of August 2025
INTO Manchester are looking for an Academic Support Officer to join their team and help deliver exceptional student support services.
This role is about more than administration—it's about being the link that ensures our academic programmes run smoothly, enabling students to thrive and succeed.
You'll be part of a collaborative team, where your work will directly contribute to the high-quality education and personal growth that define INTO Manchester.
What You’ll Do
As the Academic Support Officer, you’ll:
* Be at the heart of academic operations, providing reliable and efficient administrative support.
* Manage vital student records, including attendance and absence, and assist with the development and implementation of assessment/examination schedules plus the invigilation process.
* Coordinate academic timetables and ensure smooth delivery of assessments and exams.
* Work closely with staff, students, and stakeholders to foster a positive and collaborative environment.
* Provide accurate management information that drives informed decisions.
Whether it’s organising programme meetings, helping students navigate their journey, or supporting the academic team with quality assurance, your work will make a real impact every day.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Organised and detail-oriented, with a knack for managing multiple tasks at once.
* A great communicator, comfortable collaborating across teams and engaging with a diverse range of people.
