InfraRed represents the infrastructure equity arm of SLC Management, which also incorporates BGO, a global real estate investment management adviser, and Crescent Capital, a global alternative credit investment asset manager. Job Purpose You will work closely with the other members of the Value-Add Portfolio Management team, as well as with wider members of the business such as the Fund Management, Investments and Asset Management teams, providing financial and treasury management and control, investor reporting, financial reporting (IFRS and UK GAAP) and transaction support, as well as identifying and implementing initiatives to drive value within the business and across assets the funds’ hold. You will play an integral part in the reporting and operations for the various unlisted infrastructure Value-Add funds managed by InfraRed, with assets under management of over USD 3bn. You will be dedicated to 1-2 funds and gain exposure to a breadth of workstreams to support the day-to-day operations, management and reporting needs of those funds. You will deal with investor related queries relating to the funds, new fund investments and process improvements requiring collaboration with colleagues across the business and third party administrators (“TPA”). Day-to-day financial management for each of the investments is outsourced to a variety of TPA’s. Key Job Responsibilities Leading and working closely with the TPA for the preparation of the annual audited financial statements, including fund level entities and holding companies within the fund structure, prepared under FRS 102 or IFRS. Detailed review of the Funds quarterly management accounts as well as supporting the production of quarterly investor reporting packs. Managing quarterly and year end close processes, including reconciliation of balance sheet items. Leading the relationship with the TPA as well as external auditors and the wider InfraRed business, as required, to support the Funds. Coordination and review of AIFMD returns prepared by TPA. Preparation, review and sign off of weekly payment runs, including accurate coding of fund flows and keeping cash flow forecasting up to date to manage the fund’s liquidity. Liaising with lenders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financing agreements, drawdown and repay fund credit facilities, and support refinances and the issuing of letters of credit as required. Production of drawdown and distribution notices according to the fund’s requirements and working closely with the TPA to deliver these to investors. Preparation and submission of VAT return as well as supporting the tax team on other filings. Helping monitor the performance of investments and supporting the assessment of progress against KPI’s and business plans. Supporting initiatives across the value-add strategy as well as assisting the Investments team with transaction support as assets are acquired or disposed of. Managing fund vehicles, working closely with the tax team to ensure optimal fund structures are in place and maintained and assisting in the incorporation of new entities. Assess FX hedging needs of the funds in line with the fund’s policy and manage the execution of any hedges required, working with the Treasury function. Working with the Fund Manager, Portfolio Director and wider InfraRed business to identify efficiencies and process improvements.
