Intel is looking for a senior technical leader to manage our North American Developer Technology team and bring optimized and feature-rich game experiences by working closely with our game developer partners as well as internal Intel stakeholders. You will lead the team to success by establishing clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and ultimately driving your team to deliver optimal gaming experiences to customers on Intel platforms.
You and your team will work with third party game developers to optimize their games, implement new features, and address any functional issues on Intel integrated and discrete GPUs and CPUs. Your team will develop sample code, documentation, presentations, and other materials to illustrate best practices on Intel platforms. Your team will also work with graphics driver, compiler, and performance engineers to debug issues and obtain optimal results.
As a senior manager and technical leader, you will draw on your broad engineering leadership to set the technical direction for Game Engineering and collaborate with other teams across various technical functions to apply innovative solutions to game development problems.
You have a passion for games and game technology, understand the constraints and needs of our game developer partners, and you have an ability to collaborate with others in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
2. 10+ years of experience working as a software manager in the game or semiconductor industry
3. Strong knowledge of the game industry and graphics technologies
4. Familiarity with modern processor architecture, including CPU, GPU, memory sub-system and other components.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with graphics API (DirectX, Vulkan) and performance profiling/optimization on the GPU and/or CPU
2. Microsoft Windows architecture and how it can impact performance.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $195,804.00-$312,686.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
