NELC Civilian Work Attachment
About The Scheme
North East Lincolnshire Council's three-month programme offers service leavers the opportunity to develop their professional and transferable skills across a varied and dynamic government body.
As a Local Authority, we can offer service leavers an environment that will embrace their abundance of skills and match them to one of the many services within the organisation, providing service leavers with the opportunity to see what their talents can deliver outside of the armed forces.
About You
If you are within your 2 years resettlement period and are looking to undertake a Civilian Work Attachment, we invite you to come and join us as you prepare for life outside of the forces.
We are committed to providing you an experience that will ensure you leave us feeling confident about starting the next chapter of your career. In return, we know from you we will have commitment and tenacity alongside a wealth of transferable skills ready to be capitalised upon.
Eligibility
Service leavers must have served in the regular armed forces and be within their 2-year resettlement period.

We regularly review data to ensure our recruitment processes are fair, transparent and promote equal opportunities for all. We also have an in-house Equalities Champions Group that works to promote and embed inclusivity in the workplace, helping us identify areas where we can take positive action, and make the organisation a safe space for colleagues to feel connected.
