Title: Tender Support Specialist Title: Tender Support Specialist Salary range : £30,000 to £40,000 per annum Location: Remote / Any FNC office. Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home. Closing date is 16th May 2025 but we encourage early applications Working as part of Tender Support team within the Strategic Pursuits Operations team to support the development of FNC bids. The role holder will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to provide visibility of exploitable opportunities and assist in client engagement. The incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring that provided proposals are submitted correctly into the relevant portal. Working directly for the Operations Lead, delivery of this role is a key factor in securing work. The position is critical to the Strategic Pursuits process and maintaining a company level pipeline of opportunities hinges on effective proposal submission. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES General Accountabilities Build relationships with Business and Engineering Manager’s. Develop understanding of organisational capabilities and learning about FNC markets Work collaboratively with the other members of the Tender Support Team to deliver a high-quality service to the business community. Liaise with client contacts effectively and in a professional manner Work with central enabling functions to update standard responses where appropriate Act as an ambassador for bid management best practice Carry out ad hoc tasks under direction of the Operations Lead for tender support and continuous improvement/ development of the Strategic Pursuits services. Act as an ambassador for our brand and policy document quality Tender Opportunity Management On a daily basis identify, select and distribute commercial opportunities using pre agreed sector search terms Utilise the provided market tracking and intelligence information system to enable the identification of opportunities and support the business management community. Maintain standard submission company definition detail Assist bid managers and business managers on bid governance, bid qualification and best practice Liaise with business management community to update keyword search terms Bid Support Interface with portals to support the exploitation of valid opportunities. This includes: Downloading and distributing tender documentation to bid teams and stakeholders Submit expressions of interest in new opportunities as requested Draft standard tender responses where required Submit and distribute clarifications Monitor document amendments, version control of bid documents & communicate changes to the bid team Using previous bid experience check tenders and bid documentation to ensure compliance with submission requirements and format Maintain standard submission company definition detail Log opportunities and track bid status through internal processes and report outcomes to stakeholders Respond to and update Standard Selection Questionnaire (SSQ) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) responses When acting as part of a bid team, follow bid management protocols and processes Framework Management Monitor and manage framework inboxes to ensure opportunities are distributed promptly and appropriately Interface with framework management systems to support the exploitation of valid opportunities.
