About The Role and Person
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and inspiring leader to join the College as Business Relationship Manager, working in the College's Business Development Unit. In this role, you will be delivering the college's ambitious growth targets by planning and prioritising prospecting campaigns, sales activities, and employer engagement to generate and develop new leads.
You will be personally accountable for agreed apprenticeship enrolment targets and build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with employers, acting as their primary point of contact. You will manage a small team resulting in excellent account management and customer service for existing and new employers undertaking a regular call/contact cycle. You will also establish close working relationships with academic divisions and work with other areas and departments to establish demand for new products.
We are looking for someone who can take personal responsibility for timely and accurate transfer of information to aid accurate and audit compliance contract and enrolment completion.
The post holder will play an important role in developing the College's apprenticeships and Adult provision and helping the College to achieve its ambitious growth targets.
The post holder will maximise opportunities for growth and income generation by engaging with employers and maximising the achievement of all recruitment targets. They will also be responsible for ensuring the College's short course provision recruitment targets are met and that it meets the needs and expectations of employers.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in employer engagement. They will have a good understanding of apprenticeships and Adult provision. They will have a track record of shaping, motivating, developing, and managing an effective team and experience of improving customer service and business relationship management. Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders are also essential.
