Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is delighted to be working with an outstanding school in West London who are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and effective History lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 and 5.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the History curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and fosters a love of learning for the subject.
* Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, encouraging students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can reach their full potential.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in History.
* Proven experience of successful teaching and learning in a secondary school setting.
* In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for History.
* Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to professional development and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
* An ability to inspire students to question, analyze, and engage with historical events and figures.
