You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time permanent Quality and Review Officer within the Children, Families and Justice Directorate.
As a senior practitioner responsible for child protection and looked after children’s reviews you will:
Be responsible for quality assurance and providing support to all professionally qualified social workers and managers. You will ensure the delivery of robust scrutiny of practice relating to child protection and looked after children across the service and local multi-agency arrangements to promote the achievement of positive outcomes for children and their families. Actively demonstrate, promote and uphold social work values and deliver fair and evidence-based decision making including promotion of the child’s voice.
In addition to the above you will contribute to the quality improvement agenda across children, families and justice. You will be part of an innovative service which strives to role model and promote a learning culture in order to support learning leading to improvement's in service delivery.
