Job summary We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Carpenter to join our Estates and Facilities team at the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury. This is a key position where you will be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance, small works, and carpentry projects across the Trust. You'll also support the training and development of junior carpenters, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week) where you'll work as part of a multi-skilled, multi discipline team including participation in a 24/7 on call rota. You'll carry out carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, skirting, windows, kitchen units, fitted furniture, and more. You'll also deliver small works projects, such as office and kitchen fit-outs, from planning to completion. Main duties of the job Manage and complete planned and reactive maintenance work requests as per schedule Small works (fit out new kitchens, offices etc) Install new door sets from door blanks including all ironmongery.
