* Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating closely with the Procurement team to formulate and execute strategic business development plans aimed at fostering client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, securing new projects, and establishing the firm as a leader in the sector.
* Enhancing the company’s profile, strengthening ties with key clients, and promoting collaboration across the organization.
* Partnering with stakeholders to deliver thought leadership, multi-channel campaigns, market research, analysis, and brand awareness initiatives.
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the local community through networking, market research, and lead generation efforts.
* Establishing strategic partnerships, collaborations, and referral relationships to broaden the company’s reach and service offerings.

* What We Are Seeking:
* A minimum of five years of experience in business development roles, ideally within the construction, heating, or retrofit/renewable sectors.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities to engage effectively with partners, key associates, business development colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and cultivate client relationships up to the Director level.
* A strategic thinker capable of developing innovative business development strategies and facilitating their integration into the organisation.
* Proficiency in lead tracking and other business development tools, along with the ability to maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities.
* Project management expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
