Maris Pumps are an independent company, established in 2003, specializing in the hire and sales of water & sewage pumps, hoses & accessories.
Due to our fast-growing business, we are looking for the right person to join our already established team.
We're looking to recruit an internal sales desk person to generate new sales from our existing customer base along with new customers. They will be required to process incoming sales and be knowledgeable about the equipment to help customers find the right equipment for the job.
Based at our Chesterfield Head Office, you'll be a confident & motivated self-starter with experience managing your own workload along with a 'can-do' attitude to getting things done.
If you're experienced in either the construction or plant business, that would be an advantage. However, we're looking for sales experience & an adaptable attitude; we can help you to learn the rest.
The role is office-based at our Chesterfield location. Good IT skills will help, as will an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels. Experience with Microsoft along with knowledge of hire software would be an advantage.
Salaries are competitive & will depend on your skills & experience.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00; however, due to the nature of our business, we operate a 24/7, 365 emergency call-out service, and you will be required to answer inbound calls out of hours on a company-provided mobile on a rota basis.
