We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality and Governance Officer to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our quality assurance and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will work closely with the quality team to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, enhance academic standards, and contribute to a culture of quality across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing the Quality and Standards Framework to align with the relevant regulatory requirements and national advisory bodies (e.g., Office for Students, Quality Assurance Agency), with the focus on: -Student Access and Participation (Condition A) -Quality and Standards (Condition B) -Protecting Students (Condition C) Support the consistent implementation and monitoring of the policies, procedures, and systems of partner awarding bodies across programmes delivered by ESL. Coordinate internal quality audits and contribute to the development of quality enhancement reports for continuous improvement initiatives. Support the maintenance, review, and updating of academic policies and procedures. Ensure all policies and key documents remain up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation and external regulatory standards. Utilise qualitative and quantitative data to monitor and evaluate the performance of academic programmes. Prepare high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to data-driven decision-making. Act as secretary for allocated meetings and committees, including drafting agendas, collating papers, taking formal minutes, and ensuring follow-up on actions. Collaborate with committee chairs and key stakeholders to support governance processes effectively. Liaise with Committee Chairs, Academic Managers, Module Leaders, Programme Leaders, Student Engagement Manager and Student Support Manager to ensure alignment with quality assurance processes. Provide expert advice and support on quality assurance matters to colleagues as needed. Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks and regulatory compliance. Capable of meeting tight deadlines and achieving goals. Excellent organisational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data for inclusion in comprehensive reports. Strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of ICT software including Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, PowerPoint.
