Engineering Surveyor - HitchinJob DescriptionResponsible for assisting in the creation of an annual and weekly programme of projects through on-site surveys to establish all aspects of Highway Authority conditions and permissions, all aspects of customer management, all on site safety and environmental risks and providing inputs into the CDM Health and Safety file and Team File for each Mains Replacement project.#LI-JK1ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of an annual, monthly and weekly programme of projectsLiaise with the Planning Manager, Area Manager, Project Manager and Authorising Engineer to agree priority of projects to surveyCarry out on site surveys of all projects on all Mains Replacement schemesIdentify on site storage areas and agree site welfare provision in line with Cadent proceduresIdentify the requirement to submit an F10 for CDMArrange and attend on site meetings with Traffic Management Providers, Highway Authorities, Police, bus companies, other utilities, developers, customers to establish permissions and timescales for each projectKeep accurate and timely records of all on site meetings and arrange for core Cadent systems to be updated as requiredLiaise with the Project Manager, Authorising Engineer, Site Manager and Planner to agree the programme for each project and assist in the application for permits / notices, traffic orders, parking bay suspensions, customer letters, F10\\\'sAssist the Programme Manager and Project Manager in preparing for Highway Authority Coordination meetings and attend such meetings as requiredAttend and participate in internal management and programming meetings where neededCarry out onsite inspections and audits as requiredCarry out any other duties appropriate for this postSupport the leadership team with all aspects of the Planning/servicesIdentify all on site hazards and risks associated with the project including a full photographic / video record as requiredCollate information on site in relation to traffic management requirements, traffic orders, parking bay suspensions, works durations, MOB\\\'s, types and size of gas services, high occupancy buildings, schools, permit conditions, vulnerable customers, other utility or building work, water courses and bridges, and any other site aspect as directedAssist with the completion of the Construction Phased Plan and any other aspects of the CDM Health and Safety Plan for the project or the Team Site FileQualificationsEssentialFull UK Driving Licence (Ability to travel to other depots in the East of England regionDesirableNRSWA IOSH About UsCostain helps to improve people\\\'s lives with integrated, leading edge, smart infrastructure solutions across the UK\\\'s energy, water, transportation and defence markets.
