The Role Leading and supporting a team of Residential Support Workers. Ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people. Working closely with the Registered Manager & Deputy Manager to deliver high-quality therapeutic care. Acting as a role model for staff and young people, promoting positive relationships and development. Implementing and reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding policies. Supporting staff development through mentoring and supervision. What Were Looking For NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Essential Minimum 1 year of shift-leading/keyworking experience in a residential setting Essential 2 years of experience in residential childcare Desired Knowledge of PACE therapeutic parenting and trauma-informed care approaches. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive.
