Job responsibilities
We are currently recruiting a Nurse Specialist (Band 7) to provide leadership and overall management to our expanding Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service.
The post holder will be able to demonstrate a passion for Leg Ulcer Management and excellent leadership skills to support the team, overseeing the Teams caseload ensuring that the service delivers high quality, safe and effective nursing care within allocated resources.
The post holder will require excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work flexibly across a variety of clinic settings within our northern locality.
The post holder will be responsible for:
1. Undertaking holistic nursing assessments to facilitate a nursing diagnosis, plan of care, and ongoing evaluation.
2. Providing specialist advice and information to patients, relatives, Nurses and Health Care Assistants within the clinic setting.
3. Undertaking research activities and leading clinical audits in Community Lower Limb Therapy Service and Well Leg Service team.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours a week
