The Client
Our client is one of the leading survey companies in the UK providing full UK coverage in a wide range of services. These include land, measured building, topographical, highway, hydrographic, railway and underground utility tracing.
The Role
1. Conducting land surveys using modern survey methods and devices.
2. Resolving any unexpected site issues and seeking help from the team and management when required.
3. Accurately recording surveying information on-site to the agreed specification and scope.
4. Building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring that we deliver to our client's expectations.
5. Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
6. Checking the quality of information collected on site and ensuring a successful transition to deliverables.
7. Delivering to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
8. Carrying out any other duties as required by the business.
Experience Required
1. Working knowledge and able to demonstrate correct use of Total Station, Laser Scanners and GNSS.
2. Experience in taking projects from 'field to finish' liaising with clients on requirements/specification and providing professional advice.
3. Proficient in the creation of technical survey reports.
4. Experience of working with teams of less experienced surveyors, adopting a coaching and mentoring style.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. Able to work well and contribute as part of a team.
7. Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.
8. Good time keeping.
9. Flexibility to work away from home for periods and accommodate various shift patterns when required (such as night shift etc).
10. A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.
11. A full UK driving licence.
