The role
Due to ongoing growth, we are hiring several Pharmacist and Superintendent Pharmacist positions to be based from our new site in Wolverton (MK12). This is a non patient-facing role from which we dispense medications.
Dimensions & Stakeholders
* Working closely with the medical and pharmacy teams to ensure that all delivery of medication meets best practice guidance.
* Helping to build and work with a team to ensure dispatch of medication follows good pharmacy practice and provides the best possible service to our patients.
* Responding and reacting to changes in requirements including allocation of prescriptions to pharmacies during Bank Holidays or delivery problems.
* Developing a deep understanding of all processes that occur with external parties impacting our operations, including Royal Mail, DPD, and our partner lab.
* Understanding, developing, mapping, and evaluating all clinical and customer support processes and exploring ways with stakeholders to improve these operational processes.
* Working closely with the data team to provide regular reports on day-to-day processes and successes of the pharmacy, requiring detailed feedback through data manipulation.
Key Accountabilities
* Ensuring SOPs are followed and medication is dispatched legally, safely, and appropriately for patient reception.
* Delivering the KPIs related to the delivery and supply of prescriptions and medications from the UK locale and partners where required.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified and GPhC registered UK Pharmacist with an understanding of the digital healthcare landscape.
* Knowledge of process mapping and efficiency processing.
* Experience in data analysis and manipulation, including basic Excel skills (essential).
