The Manager, Marketing Operations, plays a key role on the team and drives email marketing programs to build Amazon Business brand awareness and adoption. This individual will 1) manage a team to support the day-to-day execution and bar raising of global email campaigns, 2) act as a liaison between marketing teams and brand to identify, scope, and gather campaign requirements, 3) own global strategies to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of email communications, and 4) develop a team of marketing operations professionals. They will collaborate across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize projects.
Key job responsibilities
Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams in a complex space. Key responsibilities include:
1. Maintain WW email channel best practices, along with proper platform management and upkeep.
2. Build and develop a team of Marketing Operations experts to manage and enhance global workflows.
3. Own the process to collect and verify collateral from multiple stakeholders, ensure deadlines are met, clearly define responsibilities, and track as well as summarize progress.
4. Compile, analyze, and present operational performance metrics to identify opportunities for improving campaign impact and streamlining processes.
5. Facilitate effective campaign reviews alignment discussions with team leaders, business partners, and stakeholders while providing clear updates on project progress.
6. Support the build and maintenance of standards and systems for knowledge management (e.g., SOPs, best practices, processes).
7. Track email best practices, industry trends, and make proactive recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
- Experience leading primary research studies across various methodologies: online quant surveys, focus groups, 1:1, ethnographies, online qual, mobile
- Experience with various statistical techniques (regression analysis, coefficient correlation)
