This temporary-to-permanent position is an ideal opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with a skilled team to create a nurturing and structured learning environment tailored to each pupil’s unique needs. As an SEN Class Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in developing inclusive lesson plans and working closely with support staff to ensure each child achieves their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver individualised lesson plans that cater to pupils’ needs. Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning. Collaborate with support staff to implement effective teaching strategies. Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, adapting methods as needed. Build strong communication channels with parents and carers to support pupils’ growth. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable. Experience in a Special School or primary SEN setting is preferred. Strong classroom management skills with a patient, nurturing approach. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
