The Company
We are happy to be working with a well established broker who is well known in the market for supportive and protective approach with their clients. They have a strong presence covering the Motor Trade, Haulage and Hospitality sectors
They are now looking to add to their Claims team and are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler
The Role
* Commercial Account Handler
* Covering Classes - Commercial Motor, Haulage, Fleet & Goods in Transit
* Develop tailored insurance solutions, pricing, and placement strategies that meet client needs while ensuring profitability.
* Provide high-quality service by advising, reviewing, and securing appropriate cover at competitive premiums.
* Manage policy and client information, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely action on required updates.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry specialists to maximise business opportunities.
* Stay vigilant in daily operations, identifying and mitigating potential issues while ensuring prompt remedial action.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the business to identify growth opportunities and enhance service delivery.
* Requirements
* 2+ years Commercial Insurance Experience, with strong commercial awareness
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
* Confident with all relevant MS office packages, and Acturis systems Preferred
* Excellent organisational skills with ability to multitask
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Cert CII, or working towards this or keen to undertake the qualification in the future
