Our client based in Cannock is looking for an experienced Office Administrator.
The Office Administrator duties include:
* Ensure that all office activities fully comply with the Company’s general employment terms, as well as all quality and Health & Safety policies.
* Company representation at all management meetings.
* Ensure that all work orders are prioritised and processed in line with customer expectations.
* Carry out regular reviews on customer requirements to ensure a consistent approach to customer satisfaction.
* Dealing with all customer-related issues including dissatisfactions and complaints.
* Work with the Workshop Manager to ensure appropriate staff discipline is maintained within the Company.
* Handle all sales enquiries.
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via telephone and email.
* Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries.
* Negotiate on price, costs, and delivery with buyers and managers.
* Check and maintain sales stock.
* Raise sales invoices and authorise supplier payments.
* Manage payment applications.
* Negotiate the terms of current and new customer contracts/agreements.
* Reply to general information requests with accurate information.
* Greet clients, suppliers, and visitors to the organisation in a professional and friendly manner.
* Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents.
* Manage import/export activities and procedures reporting to HMRC when necessary.
* Use computer software to prepare invoices and financial statements.
* Code and file financial material according to Company procedures.
* Administer petty cash according to established procedures.
* Recruit staff as required.
* Assist with financial reports as required.
* Perform month-end duties as required.
* Emergency First Aider.
Authorities of Office Administrator:
* Monitor day-to-day banking activity.
* Authorise supplier payments.
* Manage consumables up to £500.
Experience required for Office Administrator:
* 5 years of office experience in a similar role.
