This includes homes for affordable rent, homes for students and homes for older people. We even develop new homes to help people get on the property ladder. In addition to this, we provide Student accommodation. We support over 4000 learners a year with everything from entry level qualifications, arts and wellbeing courses through to employability support to help people fulfil their potential. This is through Riverside Training, our employment and skills team, and CLIP, an education provider.
Your role is all about supporting the neighbourhood’s team, so that we can give the best service possible to our customers, whilst being cost effective and compliant.

As a Neighbourhood Assistant, a typical day might include:
16. Supporting and assisting the Neighbourhood Managers.
17. Providing administrative support to the wider Neighbourhoods team, to ensure an efficient and effective service to our customers.
18. Assisting in ensuring we are compliant with our heating and electrical servicing activity, communicating with customers and contractors, and following relevant processes and protocols.
19. Assisting with invoicing and contract management to ensure financial compliance.
20. Supporting our procurement processes, ensuring we offer value for money.
21. Taking an active role in the day-to-day running of our office spaces and facilities.
22. Taking ownership of communal access, key management, and garage enquiries.
Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you:
23. Computer literate with a good working knowledge of software such as word and excel – you will need to use these to do the job.
24. Good organisation skills with the ability to independently achieve deadlines.
25. You’ll have the ability to handle information, securely, timely and accurately including producing clear written reports, letters and minutes.
26. A strong customer focussed approach both externally and internally.
27. Be committed to working as part of our team.
28. Be motivated, adaptable, determined, and able to work on your own initiative to resolve problems and achieve positive solutions.
29. An ability to communicate effectively, with influencing and negotiation skills.
