Job Summary
GRAHAM Construction is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Faslane/Coulport. This role is crucial for managing the financial aspects of our pre-construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with all contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee all pre-construction quantity surveying activities.
2. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
3. Conduct cost analysis and risk management.
4. Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure accurate cost control.
5. Prepare and review tender documentation and contracts.
6. Monitor and report on project financial performance.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
8. Provide support and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and other team members.
9. Collaborate with the project management team to align financial objectives with project goals.
10. Conduct site visits and assessments as required.
Requirements
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor post-graduation.
2. Proven experience in pre-construction quantity surveying within the construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Must live within a 45-minute drive of the Faslane/Coulport site.
7. Must be willing to undergo full Security Clearance process.
8. No option for remote working; presence on-site is mandatory.
