About the Role: Are you passionate about IT and eager to kick start your career in a supportive and dynamic environment? St. Aquinas Catholic School is looking for a friendly and proactive IT Technician Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you'll provide essential first- and second-line support to our school community, ensuring smooth and effective IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver rapid and friendly first and second line IT support to staff and students. Provide field technician support as needed. Monitor the IT help-desk and escalate requests when necessary. Assist with updating, patching, data backup, and retrieval tasks. Maintain up-to-date IT documentation and asset management systems. Support the use of IT in teaching, including setting up specialist equipment. Adhere to and promote Academy and Trust policies, including Information Security and Data Protection. Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
