We are Palfinger UK. We’re the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Construction and Recycling Cranes. We’re also the UK’s largest national lorry crane provider that offers in-house assembly, bespoke body-building and servicing.
Our business is expanding and we’re looking to recruit a Fitter/Fabricator for our Production Workshop based in Falkirk.
Day to day duties will include:
As a crucial member of our team you’ll work in a fully equipped production environment helping to build and assemble our advanced range of lorry cranes. Duties include:
* Fabrication and welding of bespoke sub frames
* Fitting sub frames and cranes to commercial vehicle chassis
* Hydraulic plumbing
* Carrying out fitment of components such as pumps, PTO’s, valve blocks and hoses

Requirements:
All specialist product training is provided, however its essential that interested applicants have prior mechanical assembly experience and the following skills:
* Basic MIG welding experience
* Fabrication experience
* Hydraulic fitting knowledge
* Ability to read basic engineering drawings
