As a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician, you’ll help Amazon stay ahead by adopting the latest technologies and identifying new ways of working. You’ll maintain high standards, upgrade processes, and lead teams to ensure equipment is running properly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks
* Supervise technicians, support their development, and act as the first point of contact for RME engineers
* Find ways to improve systems, standardize processes, and implement changes across the EU network
You’ll work in a shift pattern, including weekends and nights, with a team to ensure equipment is running properly and efficiently. You’ll also monitor processes, suggest improvements, and implement changes using tools like Scada.
Requirements:
* Apprentice-trained with HNC, HND, or NVQ level 3
* Relevant experience in electrical and mechanical disciplines
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English
* Experience working in multi-contractor and multi-site environments
* Understanding of PLC-based control systems and statutory compliance requirements
* Experience using computerized maintenance management systems
