Job Title: Registered Manager – Residential Services Salary: £36,000 per annum Hours: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Ealing Setting: Adults with Learning Disabilities
Summary:
Compass Associates is proud to partner with a prestigious care provider in their search for an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team within a residential care setting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, leading a team of care professionals, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
2. Quality Care: Ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs, promoting person-centred care and continuously improving the service’s quality.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks, conducting audits, and implementing necessary improvements.
4. Staff Development: Providing leadership and support for the care team, including training, supervision, and performance management.
5. Financial Management: Managing budgets, resource allocation, and ensuring the efficient running of the service while maintaining financial sustainability.
6. Family & Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with residents’ families, external professionals, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. A highly experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record in managing residential and supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.
2. Demonstrated leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate teams and build positive relationships.
3. Possesses a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
4. Well-versed in CQC regulations and standards, consistently maintaining high levels of care and compliance.
5. Experience managing services for adults with a variety of complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities.
6. An understanding of risk management and safeguarding practices within care settings.
