SEND Lecturer – 37 hours per week 8:30am – 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm. Employed for 52 weeks per year – £28,000 - £37,000 – depending on experience and qualifications. Our school links programme offers learners the opportunity to try a range of vocational courses and aids transition into college. The SEND & Transition department requires a Lecturer to work as part of a team, to deliver a range of high-quality courses from pre-entry to Level 1. The curriculum offer incorporates employability and independent living skills, a range of vocational options, functional English, Maths and ICT, personal, social and communication skills. About the role: As SEND Lecturer, a key part of this role will be providing learning opportunities for learners to become skilled in communication, employability and life skills. Your key duties will include: Teach on a programme of appropriate courses Assess, review and record learner progress Maintain course and learner records Support learners with progression, employability and independence.
